FIVE...
...songs I know all the words to:
1. The theme to Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
2. Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey.
3. Any song on the first 4 Dave Matthews Band or Counting Crows albums.
4. Give Said the Little Stream in English and Japanese. Impressive, I know.
5. My current musical obsessions: anything by Lisa Mitchell, Priscilla Ahn or Ingrid Michaelson.
And you?

Girl, you are too cool. From rock and ballads to primary songs in two languages. What a mind on you.
Gloria Gaynor: I will survive
Pretty much any INXS song, obscure one hit wonders of the 80's... actually a lot of 80's songs, welcome to the jungle, tubthumping (but who doesn't - it's like 2 or 3 lines!!) My brain seems to be reserved for two things: useless trivia (pop culture) and song lyrics.
Is it bad that I know all the words to most primary songs, as well as Sexy Back?
This reminds me of back in the day when I'd tape songs off the top-40 radio station and play them back, phrase by phrase, so that I could write down all the words and memorize them. And was the boom box pink? Yes, yes, it was.
Deviating from the pop scene a bit, I think I could probably sing every word to Les Miserables and mimic the voices/accents of the people on the original broadway soundtrack.
OK, definitely a Journey fan here. :) So funny though- just the other night Aaron and I were thinking of an old classic...how about a little Vanilla "Ice Ice Baby"? We didn't remember all the words but we were pretty close.
I"m with you on Les Mis Em. My bro and I can even do both parts on the Confrontation - I've got every pause, every dramatic sigh for both Javert and Valjean.
I'm also good at Garth Brooks Aint' Goin Down till the Sun Comes up...I got every word.
I also know most 2Pac...don't judge me.
Also - all the words to ANY Weezer song. Long live Rivers!
