Goooooogleable

This is not a food entry-- a trend of my posts lately, I know. (Although it could be because don't think I didn't go to BK today for lunch and totally order a large size of their new cheesy tots. Because I totally did. And then I ate all of them by myself. They tasted like fried mac and cheese. It was... divine. I'd claim it was a moment of weakness, but who am I kidding? I heart fried food. Especially when it involves cheese or bacon. or cake. or cheesecake.)

No, this is a proud moment entry. Since I've been Laurel Johnston it's been impossible to Google myself. All I get are pages and pages of Laurel Johnsons and then some other annoyingly well-accomplished Laurel Johnstons that make me feel wretchedly underaccoplished, and an Internet nobody to boot. Crazy is, indeed, the new normal when searching the Internet for myself, a) happens, and b) sends my self-esteem into a dark, twisty tailspin. But yesterday I Googled myself with quote marks (the trick to weeding out alternate spellings, I learned) and under "Laurel Johnston" there I am with my Crazy Is The New Normal blog-- only a few spots from the top. Whew! Finally! I do exist! One small step for Laurel Johnstons everywhere; one giant leap for me.

Next stop: Wikipedia.
